MOMENTOUS plans and produces corporate meetings, leadership conferences, kickoffs and incentive programs for companies that bring their people to Greater Palm Springs or meet in other cities. One Palm Springs team handles strategy, general sessions, offsite experiences, evening events, technical production and logistics, from the first budget conversation to the final reconciliation.
What sizes of meeting do you handle?
MOMENTOUS produces programs built around a single leadership group as well as multi-day conferences with full evening events. In January 2026, Colas USA brought 250 leaders to the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, and Availity Connects 2026 ran over several days at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage.
The right size depends on the goal. A user conference that needs a full expo floor and heavy travel asks for different conditions than a small executive retreat, which is why the team starts with what the meeting has to achieve and then picks the part of the year that serves it.

Do you work alongside our internal planner or replace one?
Either works. Because every discipline sits under one roof, the scope can be the whole program or the parts your team wants to hand over. For Availity, the scope was destination experiences, décor and environmental design, entertainment and program management. For Colas USA, MOMENTOUS was brought in by a trusted hotel partner to produce the conference.
The DMC page shows how destination services plug into a larger meeting.
What is included in a corporate program?

A worked example: Colas USA Leadership Conference 2026
The Colas USA program was designed to celebrate achievements and strengthen connection among 250 leaders. It combined three layers:
- General sessions at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, supported by the logistics behind the program.
- Offsite adventures that gave the group a strong sense of place, from hikes and bike rides to golf cart polo and a celebrity homes tour.
- Evenings at the Grove. "ColaChella" brought a festival atmosphere, followed by a Rat Pack-inspired celebration with vintage flair and live music by the Martini Kings.

What kinds of corporate programs do you produce?
Leadership conferences, kickoffs, incentive travel, launches and recognition nights. MOMENTOUS produces meetings, incentives, conferences and awards shows, and the case studies below show what that looked like on the ground.
| Program type | What MOMENTOUS delivered | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Leadership conference | General sessions, offsite adventures and themed evenings at the Grove | Colas USA 2026 |
| Multi-day conference | Destination experiences, custom activations, décor, entertainment and program management | Availity Connects 2026 |
| Meeting kickoff | Event strategy, creative design and décor, lighting design and entertainment | Corporate client, Arizona |
| Incentive and recognition travel | An immersive offsite event at a private outdoor location | Corporate client, Caribbean |
| Awards and final night gala | A leveled ballroom, full room and ceiling wrap and suspended chandeliers | Corporate client, Caribbean |
| Launch event | Strategy, design, technical production and headline entertainment | Corporate client, New York |
| Holiday gala | A holiday celebration for a financial institution at the Field Museum | Corporate client, Chicago |
Can you produce the same program in another city or country?
Yes. MOMENTOUS is headquartered in Palm Springs and produces programs for clients across the United States and internationally. Published work includes a holiday gala at Chicago's Field Museum of Natural History, the launch of an upscale grocer in the Chicagoland area, the New York launch of an air carrier's non-stop service to Dubai, a meeting kickoff in Arizona and two events for recognition travel programs in the Caribbean.

The Caribbean final night gala shows the level of build that travels: a ballroom leveled with elevated dining decks at varying heights, a full room and ceiling wrap and cantilevered chandeliers. On the destination side, the DMC works with regional vendors, venues and artisans in each market. City guides for Scottsdale, Las Vegas, Denver and other cities cover how that looks locally.
How do you report on budget during and after the program?
Budget is part of the first conversation, not the last. Discovery covers goals, audience and budget, and the final step of every program is reconciliation and a recap. In between, MOMENTOUS provides detailed financial management and budget oversight, with cost-saving strategies aimed at making the investment go further without cutting impact.
The blog post on financial management in event planning explains the approach in more detail: budget control as the roadmap for every decision, and resource allocation that gives each part of the event its share.
How a corporate program comes together
The same five steps run through every MOMENTOUS program.
- Discovery and strategy. The team learns the meeting's goals, audience and budget, then shapes the strategy around them.
- Design and creative. Themes, environments and renderings show what the general session, the offsite and each evening will look like.
- Pre-production. Venues, vendors, logistics and the show flow are locked and coordinated into one plan.
- Show day. On-site execution and show direction from the first session to the last cue.
- Wrap and report. Reconciliation, a recap and the assets to carry the momentum into next year's program.
Planning a program for later in the year? The post on why summer is the time to plan fall and season events covers the calendar side.
MOMENTOUS produces both single-group leadership programs and multi-day conferences. The 2026 Colas USA Leadership Conference brought 250 leaders to the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, and Availity Connects 2026 ran over several days at Omni Rancho Las Palmas in Rancho Mirage.
Either. Every discipline sits under one roof, so MOMENTOUS can run the whole program or take on defined parts. For Availity, the scope was destination experiences, décor, entertainment and program management.
General sessions with full technical production, evening events, offsite experiences, team building, hotel room blocks, registration, transportation, venue sourcing and logistics, all managed by one team.
Yes. MOMENTOUS has produced corporate programs in Chicago, New York, Arizona and the Caribbean, as well as across Greater Palm Springs.
Budget is set in discovery and managed through detailed financial management and budget oversight. Every program closes with reconciliation and a recap.
