Event Planners in Rancho Mirage, CA

MOMENTOUS plans, designs and produces galas, awards shows, conferences and celebrations in Rancho Mirage for nonprofits, companies and civic clients. From our Palm Springs office, we have staged 21 published events at four Rancho Mirage resorts since 2017, from ballroom fundraisers for 400 guests to a gala on the floor of a concert theatre.

Do you produce events in Rancho Mirage, and for whom?

Yes. The City of Rancho Mirage, the Rancho Mirage Writers Festival and Omni Rancho Las Palmas all appear on our client list, and our published case studies show galas for nonprofits, a multi-day corporate conference and a company headquarters opening in the city.

The clients below have published case studies set in Rancho Mirage.

Repeat work is the pattern. The Desert Symphony gala has four published editions since 2022, and A Night To Remember has three.

Which Rancho Mirage venues do you work in?

Our case studies place MOMENTOUS events at four Rancho Mirage resorts: Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage, Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa, The Westin Mission Hills and The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage. The City of Rancho Mirage lists The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort and Spa, Omni Rancho Las Palmas and The Ritz-Carlton among the city's resorts. Published venue capacities are listed in our Greater Palm Springs venue guide.

Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage

This is the Rancho Mirage venue where we have produced the most, with 11 published events between 2022 and 2026. Galas for the Cathedral City Senior Center, College of the Desert Foundation and Inland SoCal United Way fill the Grand Ballroom, with 400 guests at A Night To Remember 2026. The Desert Symphony gala is set on the floor of The Show, the casino's concert theatre. In 2022, theater seats were removed and dining tables set in for 225 VIP guests and a performance by Marie Osmond with the orchestra. The casino's sales sheet says The Show can seat "2,100 guests seated or 2,442 with GA floor of 800 and 1,642 seated."

Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa

The grand ballroom has held the Color The World Gala twice: 450 guests in 2023, when Old Town Artisan Studios returned to a signature fundraiser after seven years without one, and 400 guests in 2024. In 2026 the resort hosted Availity Connects, a multi-day conference for which MOMENTOUS delivered destination experiences, décor, entertainment and evening events with custom activations.

The Westin Mission Hills

Six of our published galas between 2017 and 2019 took place here, including the Passions Ball 2018 for 550 guests and The Disco Ball for more than 350. For the Waring Gala 2019, the ballroom became a multi-dimensional environment for Chinese acrobats, musical acts and a 40-person chorale.

The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage

United Way of the Desert's Hot Havana Nights, known as the last gala of the event season, brought 350 guests to the resort.

Can you support a city, hospital or festival event?

Yes. The City of Rancho Mirage, the Rancho Mirage Writers Festival and Eisenhower Health are on our client list, and our published work includes civic programs, a health provider's building dedication and festival opening nights.

• Civic and institutional programs: We produced the City of Eastvale 2020 Virtual State of the City and College of the Desert's State of the College, for which we built a tent pavilion to house a business theater environment and a VIP luncheon. More on these programs is on our virtual and hybrid events page.
• Health care: For DAP Health, we staged the Annette Bloch Cares Building dedication outdoors on the provider's campus, with technical production, staffing, security and parking plans.
• Nonprofit celebrations: The Barbara Sinatra Children's Center has worked with us on its Passion To Prevent celebration and its Champion Honors Luncheon.
• Festivals: We have designed and produced Modernism Week's opening night for several years, including 2026 for nearly 1,000 guests in the Palm Springs Air Museum hangars.

What does a Rancho Mirage production include?

The services depend on the event, and our Rancho Mirage case studies show the full range in one place. For The Desert Symphony 2026 Gala, MOMENTOUS provided:

• Advanced site logistics and technical and pre-production management
• Entertainment programming, and media and talent acquisitions
• Marketing and communications, and sponsorship development
• Décor and environment design, and content development
• Extensive staffing, and full-scale event production and management

Galas such as Stepping Out For COD 2026 add fundraising strategy and a full run of show, while A Night To Remember adds show direction and collateral. For more, see gala and fundraiser production, corporate meetings and conferences and technical production.
